Investing in the Future by Giving Back

The Lifescapes International Landscape Architecture Scholarship Endowment
Don and Barbara Brinkerhoff are serious about higher education. Lifescapes and Cal Poly Pomona, Don’s alma mater, have a long-standing relationship committed to helping the next generation of students receive the opportunities to succeed. Don would not have completed his studies had he too not been the beneficiary of a scholarship. To contribute, please visit the endowment's website.

Student Internships
Because there’s no experience that compares with on-the-job learning, we offer a limited number of paid internships every summer. Over the years, following completion of their internships, many interns have decided to join the Lifescapes team full time.

HomeAid America
Co-founded in 1989 by Julie Brinkerhoff-Jacobs, HomeAid America is the largest national non-profit that builds dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives. Every project includes support services that help residents move toward self-sufficiency. With these 215 shelters in place, over 1.8 million nights of shelter are offered annually. To contribute, please visit HomeAid now.

Additional Charitable Organizations
There are other organizations to which we contribute such as Free Wheel Mission, American Cancer Society, Lotusland and a variety of art and cultural groups.

“Making the world a better, more beautiful place extends far beyond our commissioned work.”

— Julie Brinkerhoff-Jacobs
